Aims and Aspirations

The school aims to promote the Greek language, culture, traditions and history through classes, lessons and social activities.

In this general framework, the school, through its Governing Committee, strives to provide the following:

Qualified native Greek speaking teachers.
A continuously improving environment where pupils attend classes.
Classes that, given the resources, will best take account of the needs of individual pupils at all levels of learning and at all ages.
Liaison with parents about matters arising at school time and information on the school calendar and other important dates through
the year.
Assessment of the progress of the pupils throughout the academic year.

The school appreciates the support of parents in the following:

Bringing the children to school regularly and punctually.
Supporting them at home with their homework, when possible.
Communicating to the committee and/or teachers issues and concerns arising within the school.
Aiding safety at school by delivering and collecting children at the gate only.
Helping with the organisation of celebrations and attending them with their families, when possible.
