The safety of the children while at school is of paramount importance to all of us. It can only be safeguarded if a parent volunteer is present at the school at all times. We therefore have to ensure that the rota is filled for all sessions of the term.
We would also like to remind you that smoking is strictly forbidden on school premises in order to protect the health and safety of children while at the school.Please find below updated duties of the parents on the Rota.
- stay on the premises for the length of the session
- help all students as required when they are outside the classroom area
- assist all children during break time with their food
- be vigilant that the school’s NUT FREE policy is upheld
- support the teachers as requested
- if necessary, to accompany a child TO the door of the toilet but under NO circumstances he/she must accompany the child IN the toilet unless it is his/her own child. If the child needs assistance while still in the toilet then please call a teacher or teaching assistant (TA) to help the child.
